iPod Update 1.1.1......pod sounds better!!!

I noticed that with one of the past updates....most likely 1.1, my ipod sounded a bit off. I play mine in the car through a tape deck...I know...get with the times...but I never had a problem with sound until that update. Everything had to be adjusted as it was way too tinny and caused music to sound too hot. Now, my stuff sounds right again and I don't have to do much adjusting to get that rich, full sound I knew I had. Anyone else notice a sound difference since the 1.1.1 update?

I noticed that since 1.1.1 it doesn't work with my griffin itrip fm transmitter anymore. so no sound in my car now! bleeeeeeeh
