Hi all!

I've got a 2012 cMBP 13" (Intel i5) around which is still on El Cap. It's got 16 GB of RAM and an SSD and it runs absolutely beautifully.

I haven't bothered with upgrading until now, since I'm not particularly interested in features like Siri.

Do I need to fear any loss of performance if I decided to make the jump to Sierra? Or does it perform the same as El Cap, now that it's been out for a while?

Thank!

Alright, looks like I'll make a backup and give Sierra a shot then.

It performs largely the same for me, but after the install it will be slow for a bit while the Photos app does its analysis for the new Memories and other features.
