Update 6s to 14.8, not 15

iPhone running 12.1 here. It only gives an option to update to 15. Is there a way to get to 14.8?

No. 14.8 is no longer being signed by Apple.

You are only able to update to 14.8.1 if you are on a 14.x version already.

If you are running anything older than 14.0, updating to 15 is your only option.

Nope, 14.8.1 is only available if you run 14.8 ... else it's 15.1 for all other ios versions !
