Hi

Is there an "Update all free" function on iPad (like in iTunes)? Don't like to tap every app...

There should be a "Update All" button in the top right corner of the App Store's update page.

I've found that that update button can be very finicky and can be tied to your ability to update all of the apps. What I mean by that is there are a few apps that I had installed and all of the sudden required a camera which meant they were iPad 2 only, and the update all button wouldn't come back until I deleted the offending app.

there is no such button. See screen shot

Go to home screen. Double tap home button. Hold on any icon. Close App store. Re-open app store. Update All should show.
No such thing as Update All Free. I have had the iPad since day 1 and have never seen a price for an update. Are devs even allowed to do that?

I've had the "Update All" button mysteriously disappear too, and this usually makes it come back. However, if this doesn't work, try rebooting the iPad.
