Hey guys,

I'm running Vista on my SR MBP to run some engineering programs I need for school and I've been keeping up with all the important updates Microsoft has put out.
The one thing I don't know is whether or not I should update the hardware drivers. When I run Windows Update, it says it has updates for the drivers for my ethernet card and my wireless card (I think). Is it okay to install these? Or will the mess with the Boot Camp drivers? Thanks.

I don't have Windows Vista, but I have run Windows PC's for many years. I would never update hardware drivers through Windows Update.
Having said that, if you want to give it a try, you can always revert to your original BootCamp drivers using the CD you made when you installed BootCamp. Load only one new driver at a time, so if you have a problem, you will know which drivers caused it.
If your system is performing to your satisfaction right now, I would change nothing. :D
Good luck.

If it's not broken why try to repair it?
I will not update the hardware drivers unless I start having problems or I am confident that a new feature I need is granted with the update.
