Hi all
I have an Imac 2008 24in 2.8GHz Intell core 2 duo with Snow Leopard,
I have been thinking about upgrading to Mountain Lion.
If I install Mountain Lion direct from the App store will it format my H/D and install fresh or will it just install over Snow Leopard and leave everything on the H/D alone?
Cheers
John

Going to ML will not reformat your drive, it will upgrade the OS and keep your data safe.

As always however make sure you have your data back up just in case.

Also do PRAM reset...I needed to do it since it really didn't clear my MacBook Pro past settings without it. After I did it..it runs much smoother.
