Just got this email from Samsung Insights. As far as I can recall you get to keep the S8+ free and clear unlike when I participated in the Note 5 trial I had to send it back at the end. I loved it so much I switched and bought my own Note 5. Looking forward to giving the S8+ Plus another shot and Free is better than $35 a month.

Greetings from Samsung!

It is highly unlikely Samsung knows you left, and as a result is responding and trying to get you back with a free phone. That wouldn't benefit them.

You are a registered person for their research division. You got an email, and the timing is most likely coincidental.

That being said, enjoy. You can't beat a free phone.

Well, that solved your problem of wanting to decide to hold onto the S8+ haha.

I also got sent this email after test driving a Note 5 in 2015. I chose the S8 and received it on August 18th. Trying to adjust to it coming from an iPhone 6S.
