update iphone without internet?

Internet is down right now at the house, and wont be back up until Monday!!!
I Dont really want to wait. The iPhone is synced with my PC, so I cant download the update on it. I can however download the update on to my laptop. Is there some way I can transfer/install it on to the PC via a usb stick? any other ideas on how to do this?

Just get the phone hooked up to the laptop, but dont sync it so turn off the auto-sync functions in iTunes first.

I think then you can just attach the iPhone and iTunes will prompt about the update. You then have the option to just download the update and not install it.

Or you can see if someone can just post it for download.

Yes, like said above.
If you got itunes installed on the laptop you can plug the phone there without syncing and click check for update.
Or wait till later, its not that imporant
