Update issue?

I've been trying to put the newest update on my Apple Watch Series 1 yesterday and today and I keep running into problems.

Sometimes it get stuck on Verify (Most common), sometimes it tells me it can't access the update due to an error and sometimes the app won't recognize an update. It's all bizarre.

I have tried Turning off both items, turning the phone back on first to try and "reconnect" them. I have also tried resetting network settings. None of these seem to work.

Is there anything else I can try and do? I feel like I've had a similar problem updating this watch before, but I can't remember how I got around it.

I tried a few more times, and eventually I just turned the wifi off on both items and turned them back on, and that worked.

Any idea as to why its so fickle?

Have you got a 2.4/5GHz wifi router? Watch can only use 2.4 GHz band, May have been an issue there.
