i saw in app store that an update for meebo came out. it says support for retina display and app switching is now supported, but it also says ads are in now.

has anyone updated yet to check it out? how is the app switching working in meebo? it seems like you'd have to "connect" when you switched to meebo anyways (which is how it was before fast switching was enabled) -- otherwise you'd be draining battery?

and are the ads that bad? i'm just not hoping to not update and regret it.

I just downloaded it. I don't see any ads.

And I think it keeps you logged in for 15 minutes or something. If you're inactive for longer than that it disconnects.

I don't see any ads either... Dont know about the 15min logout time, but i'll keep you posted... Until now, working perfectly, a little slower than BeeJive, but none the less, working...
