I recently made a few hard drives/SSD upgrades to my system and without realizing it, I lost the recovery partitions. I thought I was going to have to do a fresh install of OS X to get it back but, doing some searching, I came across a fantastic solution by brunerd.
Instead of wasting hours, his solution only required a few minutes. I not have restore partitions on my boot drive and my Time Machine drive.
