I have a 2012 iMac 27" lying around and I'm wondering if it's possible to update the OS to Catalina.
There is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 680MX 2048 MB inside.

I'm wondering if Premiere Pro would recognize the card if I would update to Catalina.

Anyone having usefull info about this?

Thanks a lot.

The 680MX is a Kepler-series card. Because it is built-in to your machine it has full native Catalina support. The 600 and 700 series cards are supported just fine with Catalina.

Unsure. I’ve only used one with an external GPU enclosure using “purge-wrangler” scripts.

Looks like there is a lot of good advice in that thread, though, including just a reinstall over your existing OS!
