i just bought the 24inch imac today and was wondering what happens if it is updated within my 2 week return period window...will i be charged a restocking fee for the new one? or will they refund me some money as the prices for the old ones have dropped?
anyone had this happen to them before?

Technically, you would have to pay the 10% restocking fee to swap your model with any updated version. Product updates aren't usually included in Apple's 14-day price guarantee because the prices on old models aren't reduced - they just disappear.

However, if this were to happen, you may be able to talk Apple into waiving the restocking fee.
