Hi everyone

My 120gb Mushkin chronos SSD is not showing up in startup disk. The way i did it is by putting the ssd in external dock and used carbon copied to clone it, booted the drive in the external dock and it work and i saw it in the startup disk. When i installed it in the mac mini through the SATA its not showing up in the startup disk or when i press option key. Any ideas of what i did wrong HELP PLEASE?

My bigger problem is when i installed the fan back on i over tightened the screw and i stripped it =( anyone know how i could get it off and where i could get new screws??? HELP PLEASE !!

how many drives are now in the mini?

did you remove the original hdd and put in the ssd just a swap?

did you put in a second cable and now have 2 drives in the mini?

as for the stripped screw which one did you strip?

There 2 drives in there 1 HDD and 1 SDD and stripped all 3 screws on top of the fan

I got the screw off the fan by using some vice grip pliers. The SATA cable came off some how thats why i wasn't seeing the SSD. Now i don't see my 2nd HDD under devices, i see under startup disk but not under devices, Help please?? and i probably have to buy a new fun at we love macs cause the upper left screw is stuck to the fun and the bottom right also.

It sounds like the problems are pretty clear to you from what you can see - and it's difficult for us to add anything, not being able to look ourselves.

Do you have specific questions that this community can help with?

UPDATE: went to disk utility right click and click reveal in finder. Now anyone know where i could get the fan screw we love mac don't sell them they only sell the fan it self.
