When I first purchased the Navigon app - years ago with my iPhone 3Gs - I only bought the US Maps. However, with my iPhone 4s Navigon had a sale and I upgraded to the North America maps package so I could have Canada maps. I also purchased the in-app Freshmaps so I could get free updates.

I noticed when I setup my iPhone 5s and updated the Navigon app for IOS7, the map manager is only allowing me access the the US-only maps. However, when I updated to iOS 7 on my old iPhone 4s, Navigon let me install the Freshmaps for all of North America.

Of course I emailed Garmin support (now owns Navigon) days ago and have received no response.

Any ideas on how to get the NA maps onto my new phone? Should I try deleting the Navigon app and re-installing it - or could that lead to a bigger mess?

In case anyone is interested...a deletion of the app from my phone and from iTunes, then a reinstall with a "restore all purchases" from within the app allowed the "Freshmaps NA" choice to reappear and be installed...all is good now.

Thanks. I'd given up. I can easily delete it from my iPhone. Not quite sure if I have the courage to delete it from iTunes as I don't want to buy it again. It remains in your purchase history in the cloud, right?

A Fresh Maps update notice came on my iPhone

AND indeed - I just deleted the app from my iPhone and left iTunes as it - but new maps downloaded - and then when I went to "restore previous purchases" - Fresh maps was listed. AND in it is the full set of North America including Canada options.
