Update to new software removes jailbreak?

Hi guys,

i'm fed up of having a jailbroken iphone, my question is, if i update to the new firmware will this remove the jailbrake firmware? or should i restore the iphone, then install new firmware?

why are you sick of jailbreaking? Its a great integral part of owning an Iphone I think

A restore Will put you to the latest stock firmware.

Yes,updating to iOS4 will remove the jailbreak,but while you have jailbreaked the old firmware,why don't you try to jaiblreak this firmware too?
