Hi all,

I upgraded to Sonoma (mistake I know) and my High Point NVME pcie cards are not loading at all no matter what I've tried.

I found the 20+ page thread and tried everything there.

My issue seems like it might be slightly different as most users were able to get the drives to boot sometimes. Mine have never showed up at all. They do show up if I boot from an old back up OS or if I boot in recovery modes though.

The only things I can think of are obviously downgrade the os, wait for 15.0, buy different brand pcie cards and hope they work? Or host the cards externally.

Any idea what to look into if the drives don't ever show up?

Thanks in advance.

This issue seems to be finally solved with Sequoia. My advice is go back to your backup and wait until Sequoia is released, probably within around a month.

Changing from HighPoint to other brand won't solve your issues, since this problem happens with all PCIe switched cards.

You can buy dumb one M.2 blade adapters tho, these work with Sonoma without trouble, are cheap and you won't have the different problems and inconveniences that external TB3/USB adapters have.
