Resolved Updated an M1 iPad to 18.1 … (Sorry, It’s an A12x 😔)

I updated my mother’s M1 iPad to 18.1 and there is no “Apple Intelligence and Siri” section in Settings, just Siri. There was no option to join the waitlist, but briefly there was the Learn More section about Apple Intelligence that is usually under the join Apple Intelligence but even that disappeared after I tried a few restarts. The Settings screen also froze and crashed once. She is on the waitlist on her iMac. Has anyone experienced this?

What iPad Model is it. No issues with my M1 11" Pro.

Never mind. I put the model number in Google’s Gemini originally and it said it was an M1. I tried a different way of asking and it says it’s an A12x (iPad Pro 2018). It did, for a bit, show the Learn More (about Apple Intelligence) in the Siri section and then the Settings screen froze and I never saw it again. That’s why I didn’t recheck the model sooner. Thanks anyway.
