Recently updated iTunes to latest version and then proceeded to sync iPhone 3G and install 3.1. Everything went fine as all previous syncs and updates have gone before. Later attempted to sync iPhone: iTunes recognized it (showing under Devices) and iPhone started charging but iTunes locked up and never started sync (have it set to auto-sync upon plug-in). Tried re-install of iTunes, same issue. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, another user had this issue. Have you uninstalled according to the directions on the Apple web site?

Well, I actually did a system restore because my computer was acting up. In doing so I had to update to iTunes 9 again. So, I plugged my iPhone in and sure enough iTunes recognized the device and froze up. However, I got distracted briefly and had left it plugged in. After about 3-5 minutes it finally started sync'ing. Not sure if this lag is a 3.1 issue or iTunes 9 issue or both. But finally got it working.
Oh, and I first tried sync'ing my shuffle before my iPhone and it sync'd right away like normal, so I am thinking its something to do with 3.1, idk.
