Updated my unlocked 3G iphone and i am now locked out

I accidentally updated my unlocked 3G iphone from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 and i am now locked out of the phone and stuck on the emergancy call screen.

is there anything i can do?

Nothing besides learn a lesson.
You dont upgrade a software unlocked iphone thru itunes unless you're 100% sure you know what you're doing.

don't know how someone can accidentally go thru the whole process of updating. Your iPhone is now an Ipod Touch until a new unl0ck appears.

Thats because there is no unlock for 3.1.3. Why would you update without checking for that first?

How did you get to ipod touch stage? I'm still stuck on emergency mode. Same issue as you.

My only question is: "why post a bunch of crap about accidentally upgrading when there is no such thing". You upgraded because you were either overly stupid which in that case means you should never be left around electrical devices, or you have a reading and learning disability which goes back to not being around electrical devices.
