I upgraded to 10.10.2... What happens is my Mac boots, and the progress won't even reach 50% before the Apple logo is replaced with a circle with a line going through it. I've tried booting into recovery to repair disk, and repair disk permissions. No problems found but the error persists. As luck would have it my Time Machine disk is overseas.

Anyone having this issue? How do I go about fixing this?!

I actually am using Trim Enabler. Is that causing the problem?

I keep a reminder note next to my MBP, so that I won't forget to turn off Trim Enabler when doing system updates, as it is an easy thing to forget.

Too bad there isn't some kind of setting in Trim Enabler, which would monitor for system update attempts, and alert the user with a pop up message that Trim Enabler needs to be turned off.

The odd thing here is, I did forget to disable Trim before applying the 10.10.2 update yesterday and everything worked fine.
The only exception was when I checked my new 10.10.2 system Trim was disabled and I had to re-enable it.
