I auto-updated this morning, and now all the MO programs crash. Anyone else having this problem?

how are you getting 15.28 apps? Autoupdater says there are no updates (and i have 15.27)

Insider updates. You can choose "fast" or "slow" in the Office updated.

In any case I'd recommend you uninstall the entire Office suite as a first step and install from scratch. If you're still seeing instability (is it instability or do they just not start? You weren't very specific in the OP) then perhaps try one of the insider rings to see if it clears things up

Thanks for the tip. They open for a second and then immediately crash. Ill try the fast insider update.

Post back when you do and if you're still having problems hopefully I or someone else can offer advice.

I have a feeling you might end up needing to trash all your prefs etc. but take it one step at a time and don't ditch more than you need to.

So, I have the latest version which is 15.28.0. I now can open word documents if I click on them directly, but If I try starting Word directly, it crashes. Outlook will still not open at all.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are "prefs etc." I'm willing to try the next steps, as using the web version of outlook is quite frustrating.

Have you installed an app called HandsOff (a firewall) ?

I have Office 15.27, it works fine on 10.12.1
