On my iPhone
So I updated to 3.1 yesterday and now I see I shouldnt have. I assume I will never be able to jailbreak?

Sad day (getting out paint to paint on my themes now)

:(

Did you have to have an activated UDID to upgrade? Or did you just download from a torrent and option update?

Yes, Iam a wanna be dev. Actually I've been super busy and just didn't think of it. Oh well.

Funny thing is I just got a replacement iPhone yesterday too.

Reading some of the dev site news (better late than never) it looks like it may not be all shot down. Unlock wont happen (dont need it) but Jailbreak should, maybe.

I guess we'll see soon.

What more is there to say.

Got a new toy, failed to read up on it, now the regrets !

Have seen all this before !

You know what makes this even more crazy....his posts show that he read alot of the threads about JB the 3GS ???????

well hand a man the keys too Ferrari

and say go ahead take it for a drive good chance he will crash it into a tree, in his excitement. ;) as I said before most hardware and software can be hacked just takes time, skill and the desire! lucky for us the Dev has all three. :D

Yeah maybe you should of taken a few minutes to read what quickpwn said about that when it was announced. I am amazed that a lot of phone owners dont read anything before they try things.

I read the first one that said you wouldnt be able to unlock. It said nothing about jailbreaking. Then they put the new one out.
