updateing mountain lion GM?

Hi, I have mountain lion GM installed, and iam downloading the new release of mountain lion now, even though the app store said i was already useing ML i wanted the final release to be fully paid for, thing is i have ML GM running really sweet on my mac pro, i dont want to bugger anything up by installing the ML from the app store over the top of it. I was kinda hopeing that as i have purchased ML apple would recognise this and i wouldnt have to install the ML released today?

what do you guys think?

There is no reason to install the app store version if you already have the GM version installed..

They are the same version.
