I think since I bought my MacBook Pro (a few months ago) I don't see the updates of my installed apps anymore. In the AppStore only the cloud icon is visible for the installed apps. If I know that there are updates, I can only reinstall the apps.

Everything is actually set up correctly, in the AppStore I can view my registration, etc. I have also already logged my account off and on again.

What could be the cause and how can I solve the problem?

Usually the little cloud icon with the arrow means those apps are not actually installed on your computer. I did see this happen the other day on a computer which did have the apps installed. Clicking the cloud/arrow icon redownloaded the apps for me and then app updates appeared as normal after that.

But the apps are installed on my computer, I use the apps. Normally I should see "Open" instead of the cloud icon when the apps are installed. After I knew that there is an update for the Affinity Designer, I clicked on the cloud icon and reinstalled it. After that "Open" was visible instead of the cloud icon. Next day, after restarting the laptop, the cloud icon was there again.
Maybe an error occurred while setting up the new computer?
