I'm having a problem on a couple iPhones running iOS 5. As part of the upgrade, both my wife and I had to change our Apple IDs to an email address. Now, when trying to update apps on our iPhones that we acquired from each others' computers via Home Share, it is not giving us the option to update our Apple IDs and thus the passwords are not taking.

For example, I have Words with Friends on my iPhone that was bought on my wife's computer. When I try to update it on my iPhone, it shows her old Apple ID and when I put in her password, it says it is invalid. I do not have the option to update her Apple ID. Also, the app does not show up as needing an update in iTunes so I can't update it there (I did verify the version showing in my Apps Library is less than the latest version in the iTunes Store). Any ideas? We have multiple apps where we have done this so I'd hate to have to delete these apps from our computers and devices and pull them back over.

I tried turning off home sharing on both computers and re-enabling. My computer still doesn't see the update for the app.

I don't see "home sharing" in the "settings app".
