I'm trying to update an app. I noticed this has happened frequently, in iOS 10, to be particular. The app I'm updating – Uber EATS – updates when I tap Update, but after it finishes, and I open Uber EATS, then go back to the App Store, it shows Uber EATS as needing to be updated. What am I doing wrong, and how can I make this go away?

Thanks!

have you tried deleting and redownloading?
I did, it worked. But, my point is, I don't want to have to delete and re-download an app just to get rid of the update prompt – it should update seamlessly. And what if that app has a lot of data that isn't synced somehow? Or I'd have to re-sign in? All other apps has updated without being asked again to do so, but this issue has been happening frequently with a few apps, especially with iOS 10, so... what's the issue?
