i recently bought a iPhone 5 running iOS 6.02. Is there any way to update it to iOS 6.1.4? Without jail breaking...

If you don't mind waiting until Apple screws up again with their signing windows. Just this past January, they briefly signed iOS 6 for a handful of devices for a few hours. I managed to update my fifth gen. iPod touch from 6.0.1 to 6.1.3. So you never know. I was banking on that exact thing happening...and it did.

Not sure that you can really bank on pretty much an unexpected and unlikely thing to happen.
