Sorry to bother anyone but I am wanting to update my software finally on my already jailbroken iphone 3g 3.0 . I went onto the devteam site to read about the newest happenings in the iphone pwn world and downloaded the new 3.1.4

This is my first Update to a jailbroken device , in past I usually just start fresh but since I have a good baseband Im obviously wanting to not upgrade that to the newest one . Wanting to know/make sure I just have to make a new custom 3.1.4 fw using pwn and restore it with itunes right ?

Its a dumb question I know but like most I didn't want to kill my jailbreak because I update the baseband .Thanks again for your time

3.1.4 firmware? Anyway, preserving the old baseband is kinda pointless now that the newest baseband is unlocked.
