iPhone Updating jailbroken 4s

Okay, hey guys i need advice and help ASAAAPP!
Okay, I have a Jailbroken iPhone 4S.
1. So, I wanted to unjailbreak my 4S and found out that it would remove my carrier and I would have to get it unlocked again. Well, is that true?
2. What will happen if I'm still jailbroken with iOS 6.0.1 and want to go to iOS 7?
Guys, I'm only 15 and just want to make sure this phone goes fine.
Btw, I hate being jailbroken but, It cost me $5,000 to get this phone unlocked (I live in Jamaica) and i ain't planning to spend that type of money again.

2. What will happen if I'm still jailbroken with iOS 6.0.1 and want to go to iOS 7? *When you update, you will lose your jailbreak.

Edit: $5000 Jamaican dollars = less than $50 US Dollars

LOL, guys. really. It cost us Jamaicans that much to unlock these type of phones out here.
Anyway, IMEI or sim interposer?
Honestly, I do not know whichever way this phone was jailbroken. But in the Profile section in the settings it says ''APN Carrier Settings from www.unlockit.co.nz''

Remove SIM card and see of you have an interposer instead of the normal tray.

Next time say J$ instead of $ lol

LOL, Alright.
I just removed my SIM card and it looks just like that, the little gold this has a really small black box on it also.

You need to take alook at the card itself.
