Updating Mountain Lion from DP4 to GM

Hi,

Can someone tell me the best way to update DP4 to GM?

I've got the GM downloading from the app store but have never updated a pre-release copy of OSX.

Hi Im a Mac Newbie. But from what I've heard. Clean Install is the best way to go. Thats what Im going with

Just download and install. I just upgraded from DP4 to GM 4 hours ago without any issues, so far.

ill be doing a fresh install soon as i finish creating a usb for it..... ill be doing a fresh install cause i wanna make sure everything goes ok with no possable issues happening during the install.... though every computer is different so i may or may not get issues..

Is Apple's upgrade process basically the old 'archive and install' method, or do they only update key components of the OS?

Trying to decide whether I want to update from DP4 or do a clean install.

Try repairing Disk Permissions.
Then restart.
And then mount the image.
Show Package Contents.
Mount InstallESD and run the installer from there.
