Hi,

I'm trying to update my video card drivers on my 13" MBP. It seems as if I am getting a nv4_disp.dll error on the XP partition of my hard drive when I try to exit BF2. Could anyone suggest good graphics drivers to download? I tried Omega drivers but they said that my graphics card could not be recognized.

Thanks!

EDIT: Should I try this?

2x EDIT: I'm getting this error whether the NVidia drivers are installed or not. Similar error with the Omega drivers. What shall I do? This screen has the Boot Camp NVidia drivers installed, I've tried it with them uninstalled as well. Sorry for repeating myself but I want to get that point across. These are the drivers from the Apple link.

im sure someone else can give you a better answer but i can tell you what i tried that works and i still do

at the laptopvideo2go site there is a forum thread for doxdrivers....these are the nvidia drivers optoed for gaming...or something

anyway the thing is they work right away the modded inf stuff is already organize for you and you dont have to select which card you have and all that stuff that was confusing for me coz of the 8800gs naming stuff

so if you dont get any better advice download the latest doxdrivers from the thread and they will or should install with no problem

they work great for me

Alright, thanks for the quick reply. I'll check that out, hopefully they work!

--- Do I need Vista/Win7 for Dox's drivers?

--- Scratch that, his most recent version doesn't support XP, but one he released on April 10th supports it. I'll give that a shot now.

Update

They installed fine but I keep on getting the "Found New Hardware" screen in trying to find the right drivers for the "coprocessor". I keep on saying do not ask me again but it keeps on asking me again. Ugh! Windows...

I've got a MBP with the 9600. I've just installed Windows 7 RC and have no clue if I'm supposed to download drivers from the Nvidia website or whatever. What should I do?
