Updating windows software/probably a stupid ?

Hello---

New intel imac 24" 3.06 GHz

Installed Windows XP SP2 with boot camp

Should I update the windows XP with microsoft?

Okay, I said it was a stupid question, but I didn't think it was hard question, and it is certainly not a trick question. I'm new to the windows side of things...I've always used Macs.

Maybe I wasn't clear...should I update my windows operating system software with Microsoft just like I do my Mac OS software?

Yes. I'm thinking you were worried it might somehow affect the Mac partition; it won't. Windows via Boot Camp is exactly the same as Windows on a PC. Only difference is the quality, hardware and the apple logo. oh, and the coolness of Jonathan Ive's design.

Yes, I was worried that some microsoft things wouldn't jibe with the Mac side.
