Upgrade 17' to New HD Screen

so i got a great deal on this 17 MBP. its c2d and 2.33 ghz. so the next to recent most addition. if it wasn't for the deal i got on it i would have waited for some extra money to get the one from apple with the upgraded 1920x1200 display. the extra res is really attractive to me. so here is my question: would it be possible to get a display housing with this new HD display in it and install it on my MBP? Im pretty proficient with taking things apart and whatnot my only resolve is that I'm not sure the connection with the physical cables will match up. i also know that there is rumor of LED backlights coming soon. since this is built into the bezel, could i technically upgrade my display to 1920x1200 with LED backlighting? Any insight would be magnificent. Thanks!
