I'm a light user, primarily focused on stability and security rather than performance. I'm still running High Sierra on my 2017 iMac and Mojave on my 2017 MacBook. Should I upgrade to Catalina or directly to Big Sur? The only new features I care about at all are modest interest in interoperability with the updated iOS Notes and Reminders, but the main reason I'm thinking of upgrading is longevity and security, and my main hesitation is "if it ain't broke don't fix it."

Mainly use my devices for browsing, mail, and accessing work through Citrix. Many thanks.
