I have a 2g iphone. I did jailbreak it several times and upgrade it several times with no specific issue until 3.0.1. Following this latest upgarde, i did jailbreak it one more time and...all itunes apps (not the cynthia ones) that i have been using the last twelve months do not work anymore. I can see the icones on the iphone screen but the application does not launch.
i did back it up and restore (so it is not jailbreak anymore) it. I synch the apps again and the apps still do not work. HELP

i just did. still do not work including the new app. the app does not launch.

i tried several things. still do not work. wouldnt be better to restore completely the phone like a new phone?

If all else fails try doing a restore (make sure your apps are in iTunes) then after a restore sync them up again. I don't upgrade I restore my firmware then jailbreak/unlock seems to avoid more problems then I already have with my 2g

I had this problem which I fixed by deleting my apps in iTunes and then synching, I refused the option to upload the apps from the phone back to iTunes, so they got deleted from the phone.

I then redownloaded each app from the app store, which it lets you do at no charge, and they worked fine.

i did try and did not work. so i did a full restore as new iphone. now it works. i just did a new jailbreak and it is all fine now. thanks everyone

mondario, i am having the same problem as you. I upgraded to 3.0.1 and jailbroke my phone, downloaded all my apps. It was working fine for a day and then it just stoped. All my apps did not launch anymore. Well some. Can you tell me when you did the restore, did you leave it at 3.0 or upgrade it again to 3.0.1 and then jailbroke it again. I'm really thinking of just leaving it at 3.0.1 and not jailbrake it if it's going to continue to cause problems.
