I'm debating on which one to go with at the moment. I'm doing upgrades across the board to my 4,1 MP. I do mostly photo editing in PS and LR. Would the W3680 be worth the extra $110 or is that money better spent on other upgrades. I currently have 16 GB ram and a EVO 850 120GB. The graphics card is the original GT120.

In my experience there was no noticeable difference between 4 and 6 cores. However, Adobe has specific advice for what hardware upgrades would be best for you, depending on what you use PS for:

I have no experience with LR, so I can't say one way or the other. However, I'd be surprised if it made good use of all six cores--simply because there are so few applications that do.
