All.

I've been umming and ahhing for a while now about upgrading my trusty Powerbook (1GHz Ai 15", Combo drive), and was really holding out to see what Apple did with the (suspected) final revision of the PPC range.

But, to my dissapointment (and others - I think) the update didn't warrent me forking out. So I'll wait now until Rev2 of MacIntel.

So, I'd like to ask those who may know, if it is possible to replace the Combo drive in my PowerBook with the NEW superdrive (8x)? I'm going to upgrade the HDD (60Gb, 4200) with the new(ish) Seagate Momentum (80Gb, 7200), and also max out the RAM. It's just that I really need to look at a DVD burner and would prefer to get an internal one (I'm more mobile than I like and will be for some time to come :( )

So any help would be appreciated.

Cheers in advance.
