Procrastination at upgrading has left me on 9.2 on my 6S. I was literally going to hit the button to 9.3.5 the other day, when I discovered that Apple had of course put the 10.0 firmware on my phone and in iTunes. Being an old luddite, I want no part of iOS 10 yet.

Is there a way to still put iOS 9.3.5 on my phone while Apple is still signing it ? I have done several searches suggesting it is, and have downloaded the 9.3.5 ipsw to my computer and backed up my phone, but would love some reassurance that I am not going to brick my phone or wind up on iOS 10.

Thanks for any help.

While Apple is still signing 9.3.5 you can still do it. For the moment it seems Apple is still signing it.
