Upgrade from client install to server

I keep putting off the what really needs doing, i need to upgrade my server to osx server, i know that i can upgrade without reinstalling but i have a couple of questions

Will screen sharing still be enabled during initial server setup ?

And will i loose any settings or data?

I upgraded my SL server to Lion and you shouldn't lose all settings and data (at least I lost nothing, although you will have to add some of the information in during the install just as you would with a fresh install). As far as the remote screen, I am not sure on that as I did my upgrade local in front of a screen.

You can upgrade remotely. When it returns, you'll likely have just a bit of information to fill in.

I have had some issues upgrading w/o a clean install so just be ready, just in case.

yeah, in the end i pulled the G5 out, plugged the screen in, did a backup and then wiped and did a clean install of OSX server 10.5
