Hi Everyone,
I am posting this just incase it is of any help as this forum has helped me with decisions over the years. I have upgraded from the MacBook M1 air to a MacBook M3 16 inch (base model) in silver colour. I was considering the MacBook Air 15 Inch instead. This is my main desk computer at work, and I do not have monitor due to the the desk setup. My use includes basic internet browsing, Lightroom and nothing too intensive ( I am a cosmetic doctor) . My main recommendation for this product is the display.
1) The colour - I am delighted with the silver colour, works well with my business branding. I thought perhaps the all black space black would be less distracting than the silver, but I have had no issues.
2) Screen: The display in my opinion is far superior, and the extra real estate is so helpful as this is my only computer at work. Even if it's half an inch more than the 15 inch air, I feel if you are working on something every day it can make a difference.
3) Keyboard feels great.
4) Much chunkier and heavier than the Air
Please bear in mind I am no expert in Apple products or technology, so please take my thoughts with a pinch of salt. I feel that the size of the display is often underplayed in reviews, and the large display has really helped my work with less strain on my eyes and neck.
Photos attached, and once again thanks to everyone on the forum.
Kind Regards
