Hi all,
I'm on Monterey and would like to upgrade to Ventura now that V. seems stable.
However, the upgrade menu in the corner already wants me to upgrade to Sonoma,
which I consider too fresh.
Is there a (safe) way to upgrade to Ventura, ignoring the 'offer' to Sanoma?

Sonoma eliminated some file system bugs which still exist in Ventura. If your apps support Sonoma it might be a better upgrade. Normally recommend waiting until .2 release but this is the most stable OS release I remember.

Another method is typing this to drop the installer app in your Applications folder:
softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 13.6

And well done for having exactly the right idea, I'm banning my company from installing Sonoma until macOS 15 (or whatever) is released, I only upgraded my fleet to Ventura last week and they'll be staying there until next year.

That's a great idea: just in Terminal, without sudo , I suppose.
You learn every day.
