Has anyone done this? I've read many successful upgrades to the 6700k but none for the 6700. I'm upgrading from the base i5 6500. Since the performance different is negligible as you can't overclock it, I was thinking of getting a 6700 for cheaper. I probably won't do it unless anyone confirms that they've done it successfully though so that's why I'm posting here. Thanks!
