Upgrade question

At some point I will probably upgrade my nMP(2013) processor. Probably when I can get the processor on Ebay LOL. I am curious if I can use a V3 processor in the nMP?

I don't see how that could work. Isn't that a totally different socket and memory slot?

I think you are correct. I have not been following the intel socket designations.
