I am going to purchase a 3G iPhone from a friend. It's jailbroken and unlocked. I know because I've already put my T-Mobile card in and it works fine. I currently have a 2G model that I will sell. When I get the 3G and connect to my iTunes at home, will I be able install all my contacts, apps etc, without having to re-jailbreak and unlock, or will I need to go through the process again

thanks in advance

Do I do it as a restore? What is the best process for adding my infor without having to re-unlock and jailbreak?

Don't restore if you do that you'll have to jailbreak and unlock the phone again. Just connect it and sync like you would with your 2G
