I did the upgrade and my phone is slower, first of all so not impressed at all. The other thing is that ringtones that I've purchased from iTunes on my actual phone won't change to be the primary ringtone. My ringtones won't change and it's driving my nuts cause everything got erased from the phone music-wise so getting that to where it should be (organizing playlists etc) will take half a day at least. Needless today everything that was erased included the ringtones i'd made myself on iTunes.
I'm so frustrated cause it was supposed to be this great thing and my music is messed up and my default ringtone won't change (pretty basic stuff!). It's been SO hard to write this without cursing but I'm so extremely frustrated!! Not worth the upgrade whatsoever so far.

You're not alone. Wiping the phone and restoring your stuff/settings is a PIA. Did the same thing for my wife's iPad, the only thing that synched were the apps. One thing the iPhone sux at are ringtones. They want you to buy them and the apps that will let you make free ones you have to connect to iTunes with, transfer the RTs you made on the phone, then transfer them back. It's one thing the Android that I have excels at. The RT maker is part of the music app and any part of any song works.

I get that stuff but it won't let me change my ringtone even when they're available under 'Ringtones' on the phone. I was able to easily make ringtones on iTunes and transfer them before the upgrade too, but now it won't even change the main ringtone let alone the ones for different contacts. It's SO slow as well and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the deal is (and I know how to close out my unused apps so that's not it). Please help!
