Hi,

Got my iPhone today and pleased as punch with it - i clicked the "Do It All" on ZiPhoneOSX and it jailbroke to 1.1.2

Now then, can i upgrade to jailbroken 1.1.4 without having to click "Do It All" again? As in, use ZiPhoneOSX but click another button to simply upgrade the firmware (the firmware 1.1.4 is on there it just needs jailbreaking now). If not, do i have to reconfigure all the custom settings (like brightness etc) i made before?

Thanks, I will do nothing until one of you guys advises ;)

Restore all the way to 1.1.4 and then use "Do it All" in ZiPhone if you want. I'd recommend using the superior Pwnage tool. Safer and faster.

Damn, so i essentially gotta do it all over again? Are any of my settings like brightness and mail check time etc lost as well? I'd guess so seeing as it's a restore...... :(

Might wait till 2.0 and ZiPhone that instead (i prefer Ziphone).

Thanks.

Thanks.

If you synced before the iPhone problem, the your settings are stored in your computer. Once you finish the Restore, they will be put back by iTunes.

I'd suggest staying away from ZiPhone.
