Upgrade to 1920x1200 LCD in 17" iMac?

Hi all -- been reading a thread in the MacBook Pro forum about a guy that put a WUXGA (1920x1200) display into his 15" 1 GHz Powerbook.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried this on a 17" iMac? Certainly would be fun to have the same resolution as the new 24" iMac in a compact 17" model. :)
