Would anyone mind throwing out a quick little list. I just got a new 1gen 1.1.4 and am debating on whether or not to unlock at 1.1.4 or at 2.0

Aside from the fact that you have access to new apps, what are some other pros and cons to each one?

pros for 2.0:
App store.
Push to Email.
more support later on.

cons:
almost no 3rd party apps for consumer use (for now, im sure more apps are being ported)
a little bit hard to jailbreak/unlock if u use a windows computer
slow backup in itunes due to the fact that itunes stupidly backs up every app as well (so u can press x everytime to stop it)

pros for 1.1.4:
lots of wonderful 3rd party apps.
u can customize backgrounds and stuff (still 3rd party)
easy to jailbreak/unlock for both windows and mac.
fast backup everytime in itunes.

cons:
support is dying as most developers are porting to 2.0
no app store or any of the new iphone 2.0 official features.
the annoying window that pops up everytime u sync (u can turn it off tho)

i personally upgraded to 2.0 cuz i really like hte facebook app, the remote app, and super monkey ball.
what i missed the most was the mobile book reader and summerboard. (tho ebook reader can be purchased)

i didnt upgrade to 2.0 first.
u prbly shuld if ur 1.1.4 wasn't jailbroken. (dont quote me on that tho, its best to follow the guide)
sorry, i didnt use any guides. (or i should say, there wern't any guides when i jb into a 2.0 phone)
but my 1.1.4 phone was unlocked and jb.

problem is I restored the phone, so now I have a brand new out of box 1.1.4 that isn't even activated. I wish I could use the guide I linked in my previous post. DOES ANYONE KNOW? please!

Also, (please pardon the noob questions I have been doing a lot of research and not just asking away). If I do this, it is completely reversible to the phone's original and current state so if I want to sell the phone later I can with no issues? I've read some places that it is and some that it isn't.. I just want confirmation

The phone is 2.5 months old. I'm assuming it has the 4.6 bootloader.

If you use Pwnage tool yes. I wouldnt upgrade to 2.0 yet because its far too buggy in fact im downgrading mine to 1.1.4 as i type this. Apps crash alot and things are jerky/laggy. I'd wait till 2.0.1 if i were you

Also yes your phone has the 4.6 bootloader
