I have an iPhone 3G that has been jailbroken with redsn0w and unlocked with ultrasn0w running the 3.0 software.

I would like to upgrade to the 3.0.1 software keeping the phone unlocked, but not jailbroken. Will this work if I just plug the iPhone into my Mac and select to update via iTunes?

As I said, I don't mind that I will lose the jailbreak, but would like it to stay unlocked so I can use it on any network.

Thanks!

Hi, mr NumbersAndCharcaters =)

the closest I get to an explanation is actually a Twitter (what is the world coming to...) from one of the Dev-Team members

So, updating to 3.0.1 requires you to JB and unlock once more
